Messy buns have always been my favourite hair option. But sometimes when I’m feeling like something a bit more than a messy bun, I like to add in little plaits to make it look a bit more interesting. I have been experimenting and love the look of two french braids on either side of a bun. I just think it looks so elegant but casual as it’s still quite messy.
This hairstyle is literally so simple to do. I recommend you to not wash your hair right before, as if it’s too smooth it will have no grip to hold the plaits. All you need to do is a french braid (and if you don’t know how, there are a ton of YouTube tutorials) on either side of your head, and then join them together in a messy bun. Add a little hair spray to remove fly aways and you’re done!
