Random Favourites: September

Hi all! Once again, another month has somehow passed by so I thought I’d do another favourites post.

Starting off, I literally have a favourite piece of jewellery every month, and this month I’ve been loving this necklace I recently bought from ASOS which I’ve been wearing almost every day. It’s sterling silver, and has these small discs which is so delicate and pretty. Perfect for the summer coming up in New Zealand!

I’ve already mentioned this in my Lush skincare post, but I had to put it in my favourites to just reinforce how much I bloody love this product. I’m not going to go on about this product again, but like I’ve said before, it’s refreshing and hydrating and prevents spots on a daily basis. This is my current holy grail skincare product.

Daisy eau so fresh is quite an old perfume of mine, but I’ve recently found myself always reaching for this, especially since it’s currently Spring in New Zealand. This was my first ever proper perfume and I still love the scent so much. It’s very light, floral and fresh. Plus, I mean, the bottle is gorgeous.

frankie magazine is one of the most aesthetically pleasing magazines out there. It is a fashion/lifestyle magazine, filled with amazing photography and design to admire. I love design - it is my passion which is a reason why I love blogging so much (designing the blog,  layout of photos etc). So, this magazine is just my cup of tea.

This may be weird but I love a parenting channel on YouTube called Whats Up Moms. I know I am 15 and this is for mums, but it’s just the cutest channel! It’s not what I expected when I first heard ‘parenting channel,’ but there are DIYs, recipes and tips/funny videos by Brooke, Meg and Elle (and their adorable children!!). Claud introduced me to this channel and I have been addicted - I will literally stay up till the morning just watching their videos haha. You feel a sense of homeliness when watching their videos, and they create the most hilarious ads and parodies ever.

On tv at the moment I love Australian Survivor. I never really got into any American Survivor seasons, however I have watched quite a few episodes. But right now, I am HOOKED on Australian Survivor. I think that it is so unpredictable and so clever as there is not only physical qualities needed but also strategies with allies and immunity idols. It’s just such a fascinating show to watch!

I have also been loving the music genre Dance/Electronic. Artists such as Flume and The Chainsmokers puts me in an instant good mood and you just want to sing along and dance. I’ve never been into a genre of music, but this upbeat genre makes me so happy.

And lastly, this would not be a favourites post without mentioning food. Griffins choc thins is so delicious but extremely dangerous. Because they are so thin it is so easy to finish the entire packet in one sitting...  which I have done more than once. I love these with vanilla ice cream wedged in between - the perfect ice cream sandwich!
