Welcome to the new year! December was one of the best months of the year for me - exams were finally over, the summer holidays began and me and my family went on a very tropical holiday filled with sunbathing and relaxing. And of course, there was Christmas and New Years Eve! A very lovely month surrounded by family and friends. Here is a roundup of my favourite things in December.
CLOTHES
White birkenstocks - I’ve been wearing these everywhere lately. They’re so comfortable, and much more dressy than flip flops so I can get away with wearing these just about anywhere.
Suede jackets - I own one from Tobi and it has been my favourite jacket. This one is faux suede and I think it is a piece which instantly makes you look polished.
Flowy, white blouse - you can basically buy them anywhere and its super cheap, but perfect for a light cover up. Plus, I think you can never go wrong with a white shirt and denim shorts which is what I’ve been wearing a lot lately.
MAKE UP STUFF
Daisy Dream perfume - a recent purchase which smells dreamy. I just googled the scent description and it’s fruity-floral with top notes of blackberry, grapefruit and pear and base notes of white woods, musks and coconut water. I think it’s much less girly and floral than daisy eau so fresh which I really like.
FOOD
Margherita pizza - a pizza with all the good stuff.
Vietnamese summer rolls - the most fresh and delicious rolls, kind of like healthier spring rolls (but tastes even better in my opinion).
Virgin mojito - any drink with mint and lime is my favourite.
BOOKS + MAGAZINES
Life of Pi - currently reading and enjoying. I do admit though I’ve already read the ending which is so so good and why I’ve put it in my favourites.
PLAYLIST
When it comes to music I sort of like a bit of everything.
Land of Pleasure - Sticky Fingers
Hotel California - Eagles
Big Jet Plane - Angus and Julia Stone
Fluorescent Adolescent - Arctic Monkeys

Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton
WHAT TO DO
Scrapbooking - the best way to remember a holiday or memory is to scrapbook! I’ve been scrapbooking since I was 5 and still love it. Currently I’m making a scrapbook for our family’s Christmas holiday.
Snorkelling - my recent holiday reminded me how much I love snorkelling. It’s such an amazing experience when you’re in the middle of the ocean and all these fish are swimming around you.
Reading at the beach - if you get bored sunbathing, find some shade and read. With the sun and the sound of ocean waves, I think it’s one of the best places to read.
