To give a quick summary of what's happened since I was last active... well, I grew up. High school was over, then came Uni and what better way to step out of your comfort zone than to move to a different country?! A fresh eighteen year old Hannah hopped onto a plane to study a Bachelor of Communication Design (surprise) in Melbourne, Australia. Pretty nuts when I put it like that, but I'm currently on my bed in my shared house (with three lovely girlies), feeling quite at home.
Amidst the whole 'do I fly back home or stay' dilemma and unpredictable daily news, I was beginning to adjust to the new norm which meant online Uni and being stuck indoors. But recently I've found myself feeling pretty unmotivated which I always kick myself for as I'm basically doing my dream degree.
And then all of a sudden I thought of this - my blog.
As soon as I saw the home page I felt the sudden nostalgia, more so from thinking back to the genuine joy and excitement that creating for this blog gave me. So here I am, writing up a new post. Who knows if this post is a one-off whim that I've written late at night, or the first of many. Though this time my intentions are very different - this blog is wholeheartedly written for myself. I missed an outlet where I could illustrate freely, practise my photography and write down a few thoughts. I always said I was a shit writer, but to be honest, I reckon when it comes to blogging it's not that bad.
Anyways, point is, seeing as I am incapable of keeping a real diary, this is like my new virtual diary. Basically just for my future self to read back on (hello twenty-something year old Hannah reading this).
x
Hannah
