Food Truck Garage

In NZ there is a tv series called ‘The Food Truck’ where basically a man goes round on his caravan making healthier but equally as delicious foods to sell at markets or fairs etc. Then he opened up a cafe/restaurant called Food Truck Garage where it’s a cafe/restaurant serving his food. Quite a while ago now, me & my family went to the Food Truck Garage and I took a few photos for my blog. It was so friggen good that even though I do NOT do good with spicy foods, I finished my whole plate of spicy food (although by the end my mouth was on fire). As always with all cafes I rave about, it had very rustic and vintage decor and a really warm vibe. 

Food/Drinks: 5/5

Amazing food! I ordered the burrito bowl which was basically a deconstructed burrito and a pink lemonade - both which were delicious. What I love about Food Truck Garage is that you know that everything is organic, free range and healthy for you (as that’s the purpose of this cafe). 

Menu: 5/5

A large range of foods with ‘bowls,’ salads, burgers and so much more. I had so much trouble choosing what to eat! Also, there were a lot of beverages which have basically anything you crave.

Seat Availability: 4/5

A medium-sized indoor seating area and a smaller area outside in the courtyard. There’s also benches outside the front but when it’s sunny, you kind of overheat as the sun is facing smack-bam in that direction.

Atmosphere: 5/5

A very homely, warm vibe. Decor is very jumbled, retro and vintage which goes throughout the whole place. I also like the music - it’s quite quiet but that jazzy soft music that just plays in the background which makes the whole place feel warm.

Price: 5/5

Worth every bit! Portion sizes are medium-large. I happened to get a larger portion than my dad who got the Beetball Bowl. By the end, I was VERY full but with delicious food.
