For those of you who have just realised you’ve forgotten to buy someone a gift – don’t worry I have a last minute gift idea!
A brownie in a jar is the perfect little gift to give someone as it shows you’ve done it yourself and put in effort as well as being so cute. Also the main plus is that you can buy all the things required in a supermarket which is open till late or 24 hours.
Decorating:
• Jar
• Ribbon/twine
• Label
Ingredients:
• 20g flour
• 30g cocoa powder
• 250g sugar
• 125g chocolate chips
Get your jar and layer each ingredient, one by one. Then decorate it with any ribbon or twine, I’ve chosen the cutest green ribbon with Santa’s washing line! You can pop on a label too which adds a nice touch. Also remember to include instructions!
Instructions: Pour the ingredients into a bowl with 125g melted butter, 1tsp vanilla essence and 2 eggs. Mix and bake at 160°C.
