Welcome to the first (of many) festive posts! YAY! One thing that can be quite tricky around this time of the year is to think up of cute little gifts for your friends for Christmas. So, I thought that I'd put together a little gift guide for some ideas you might buy for your friends.
First up is a wall calendar. As boring as this sounds, it's not really if it's from kikki.k. I am in love with this 2017 kikki.k wall calendar as it is so cute, and perfect for a Christmas gift. There is a lovely quote every month, and it's so pretty I'm sure everyone would be happy to display this in their bedroom.
If your friend is a beauty lover, buying them makeup would obviously be perfect. I saw this Australis illuminating powder palette and thought it was perfect for Christmas as it's all shimmery and glowy, which is ideal for the festive season. I think that getting your friend makeup that is suited to this season would be so nice, such as a red lipstick or highlighter.
If you're quite crafty and enjoy drawing, you could draw something special and then frame it. I promise you everything looks 100% better and more professional in a frame. You can literally draw something and think it looks average, but as soon as you pop it in a frame it instantly looks shop-bought. I saw this ‘The Good News’ print and instantly fell in love, so I drew it and added it into a frame. Obviously this print design is not mine (it’s from lizzlizz.com)!
A cute pouch is super handy to store little bits in your bag, or even just to store your essentials to bring with you, instead of having to use an inconveniant big bag. I love Citta's range of bags as I think that they come in the best designs, and I especially like how this one has a pop of gold, which reminds me a tiny bit of Christmas!
Something which I spotted in Kmart was a set of 4 candles. Although I love both scents, I do admit it isn't particularly strong at all. However, I must say the packaging is beautiful and it's perfect as a decorative piece. It is also SO inexpensive, so I think this is a perfect small stocking filler gift. There are 2 of each scent - Dark Amber & Ginger lily and Wild fig & Cassis.
Something a little extra to add to their gift could be their favourite magazine. There are so many magazines out there at the moment, and I especially love the festive December issues. My personal favourite is your home & garden which I have loved for years, as I am into home things, but there other really good magazines for lifestyle or food lovers.
