Next up in my Christmas party series is festive treats, as, of course the food is vital. Today I’m sharing three super quick and cute treats which go along with the festive season.
Candy cane & Chocolate Hearts
You need:
candy canes
white chocolate
milk chocolate
sprinkles
The first step to making these delicious hearts is to snap your candy cane sticks to be shorter. Alternatively, you can buy mini candy canes. Get a baking tray and line with baking paper, and position your candy canes in a heart shape, making sure the ends touch. Then melt your white or milk chocolate and pour into the candy cane hearts. Add sprinkles and then pop it in the freezer or fridge until set.
Chocolate-dipped Pretzel Sticks
You need:
pretzel sticks
white chocolate
milk chocolate
sprinkles
To make these, simply line a baking tray with baking paper and then melt your white and milk chocolate. Then get your pretzel sticks and dip into the chocolate, and lay it on the baking paper. To decorate you can add sprinkles or even drizzle on more chocolate in a different colour. Pop it in the freezer or fridge until set.
Hot chocolate Spoons
You need:
wooden spoons
milk chocolate
candy canes
mini marshmallows
Firstly, line your baking tray with baking paper. Crush candy canes to get small pieces and melt your chocolate. Grab a spoon, and coat the base with milk chocolate, then pop it onto the baking paper. Sprinkle your crushed candy canes and add a few marshmallows, then set in the fridge or freezer. Wrapping these in cellophane and adding twine makes the perfect little gift!
