The other day me and my mum went to Ponsonby and had lunch in Ponsonby Central. I’d actually never been there before so when we went I instantly spotted how rustic and vintage it is, which ofcourse I loved. Ponsonby central is like a lane where there are a wide variety of food stores like an organic supermarket, cute cafés, restaurants and a lot of decor. The whole atmosphere of it all is so lovely.
Ponsonby is famous for having the best restaurants and cafés so of course we had to try one out! My sister recommended Foxtrot Parlour so that’s where we went. I ordered a chicken and leek pie that came with salad and salsa. Here are my ratings for Foxtrot Parlour:
Food: 5/5
A perfect portion size with a delicious pie. The salsa complimented the salad really well too.
Menu: 4/5
A good selection of a range of different foods.
Seat Availability: 5/5
A really good range of seats outside for the sunny days and inside too.
Atmosphere: 5/5
I probably looked so weird admiring all the little bits and bobs scattered around. From the wooden countertops to the mix of vintage chairs everything was just my kind of place. Decor was on point and it has a really nice cozy feel to the café.
Price: 5/5
A great price especially for Ponosonby Central.
