Hi all! Today I have my random favourites of January. I’ve been loving new bits and pieces recently so of course I had to share them with you all.
First up is something I’ve admired and wanted for about 2 years - Daniel Wellington watches, so receiving it for my birthday was so exciting! I think they’re so sleek and come with a such a large range of straps. I wanted something very versatile so I chose the black leather strap with rose gold (of course). However, after I was so tempted to buy a fabric strap and I loved the Classic Canterbury strap so I got that one too. Out of all the brands of watches out there, DW is definitely my favourite.
Another favourite was something I discovered whilst on holiday when I came across a store called Miniso. My dad was sunburnt so we were looking for anything related to Aloe as it helps with sunburn. We came across the Miniso aloe sheet face mask which to be honest, I didn’t have high hopes for as this isn’t a brand that specialises in beauty. That night we used them and I was amazed with the immediate results. My dad said his face was constantly hot from the sunburn and felt instant relief from this mask. What I liked about it even more was the fact that it stayed cool even after a long time - I find the worst thing ever is when you’re trying to cool yourself but the sheet gets hot from your skin. If your face tends to be quite hot and red, this mask will give instant relief.
I’ve never really had a really nice beach towel before until this one from Country Road. For starters, I mean it’s so pretty and I’m in love with the design. But what I was most impressed with was how it has two sides - one for tanning and one for drying. How good is that! Also it is huge which is perfect for the beach as I hate trying to lie down on a towel that’s to small.
Claud gifted me a Citta purse and I have been using it so often. I’ve always known I should get one as she has one herself and it just looks so handy. It’s not too big yet big enough to fit cards, cash, phone and the basics. This would be perfect for travelling and I find myself using this more often than my actual wallet now. But of course the design is also why I love this purse - it’s so simple and sleek.
Whilst in Bangkok I discovered a Bath & Body Works (how exciting!) and literally sniffed every single scent in store. I have to say I don’t think I’m very into their Autumn scents but my nose doesn’t handle strong scents like pumpkin very well. I was actually more lenient towards the Christmas scents and picked up a couple although straight up my favourite is Merry Cookie. I suck at describing scents but it’s basically the smell of baking in the oven mixed with icing sugar. It’s very cosy and warm which is perfect during winter. Definitely have a whiff of this if you’re ever in store.
Me and my friends were out shopping and went into T2 as they have the largest range of delicious teas (I love the green rose tea which I’ve previously mentioned before). There was a sale going on for cups and saucers and my heart just melted at some of the designs. I love this one so so much and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this before in stores. It’s a beautiful purply-red-maroon colour with an amazing design and an open eye. The centre says “morning gorgeous” which is basically what sold it for me. There was another one that my friend got which is blue with a similar design but with a closed eye and the centre says “nighty night.” I just seriously love T2 cup and saucer designs so much!
Lastly is something small, but very sweet. They’re quote cards from kikki.k and I love them so much that I have them from three different collections. They’re always motivational and inspiring, and based off what the collection is e.g. this one is Be Brave. I am such a quote person and these make me feel more positive when I read them. I have them above my desk amongst photos so I see them everyday.
